Donation Policy

We accept monetary donations, in-kind materials, equipment and machinery time, and professional or volunteer services.

In-kind contributions are valued at fair market rates and recorded in the same register as cash contributions.

A donation made to a named campaign is restricted to that campaign. If the campaign is fully funded or discontinued, we contact the donor to agree redirection; if we cannot reach the donor, funds are applied to the closest related project and this is disclosed in the reporting.

Unrestricted donations are allocated by the board to the highest-priority funding gaps.

Every contribution receives a receipt with a unique reference. Keep this reference for any query about your contribution.

A disclosed share of funds covers the cost of running the programme — banking fees, reporting, coordination and audit. The current ratio is published in the Transparency Center.

We decline contributions where the source cannot be verified, where acceptance would create a conflict of interest or improper influence over procurement, or where acceptance would breach applicable law.

Donors may choose to be named, named as an organisation, or remain anonymous. Anonymous contributions still appear in aggregate totals.

Campaigns publish progress against budget, and completed projects publish a completion report. Contributors to a campaign are notified when its report is published.
